POMPEO: 'I HATED MEDICAL DRAMAS'

GREY'S ANATOMY star ELLEN POMPEO has confessed she once disliked medical dramas.
The actress, 38, - who plays Meredith Grey in the popular U.S. TV show - was surprised it became a hit.
She tells Allure magazine, "I never watched one episode of ER. When I did the pilot, I thought, 'I can't stand medical shows. This will never get on.'"
