POLICE OFFICER INJURED ON WAHLBERG & KEATON'S MOVIE SET

Producers for MARK WAHLBERG and MICHAEL KEATON's new comedy THE OTHER GUYS got a scare on Thursday (08Oct09) - after a New York City police officer was injured on their movie set.
The New York Police Department Pipes and Drum band was filming a funeral scene in Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery with the actors and funnyman Will Ferrell - when one of the musicians was hit on the head by a falling tree branch.
Retired Detective Daniel Sprague was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he received four stitches. One other officer was treated at the scene.
Shooting was delayed for 20 minutes before medics arrived; however, Sprague insists he's not angry about the mishap, and has thanked the actors for helping him laugh off the accident.
He tells the New York Post, "They were very nice. They showed a lot of concern. They were grateful for the job we do every day."
