POLICE CALLED TO WOOD'S PARTY
Veteran rocker RONNIE WOOD proved he still knows how to party when he threw a bash on Sunday (20AUG06) night that was so wild, his neighbours called the police. The 59-year-old ROLLING STONE held a huge house party to celebrate the band's first UK date in three years - with guests including Hollywood actor OWEN WILSON, STEREOPHONICS frontman KELLY JONES and ENGLAND soccer player MICHAEL OWEN. And when repeated requests from neighbours in Kingston, just outside London, to turn the music down were ignored, the police were called in at 4am to deal with the revellers. A furious resident said, "We have got work in the morning. This is completely out of order."
