PLAYING A PATIENT MADE MEAT LOAF SICK FOR REAL
MEAT LOAF's cameo as a patient in medical drama HOUSE was so convincing, he tricked himself into believing he was sick for real.
The rocker plays a heart attack patient in an episode of the show, due to air in the U.S. on Monday night (06Apr09), and he admits it was tough portraying someone who is so ill.
He tells Starpulse.com, "The main thing that was perplexing was how to be sick without playing sick. It's real easy to play sick, but to be sick is a lot harder."
The star, real name Marvin Aday, adds, "I remember we were shooting one scene and when we finished it I said, 'I'm glad we're not shooting anymore of these because I swear to God, I'd die of a heart attack.' My chest was killing me. I mean, it was hurting."
