PLANT & KRAUSS BACK IN THE STUDIO AFTER GRAMMY SUCCESS

ROBERT PLANT and ALISON KRAUSS have returned to the studio to record the follow up to their multi-Grammy-winning album RAISING SAND.
The couple picked up five Grammys on Sunday (08Feb09), including Album of the Year and Raising Sand is poised to hit the top of the U.S. album charts next week (18Feb09), despite the fact it wasn't even in the top 200 two weeks ago.
The duo has reteamed with producer T. Bone Burnett, who tells Rolling Stone magazine, "The one thing we certainly can’t do is try and repeat Raising Sand. That was a moment in time and a beautiful moment, so to try and do that sort of thing again would detract from that.
"Hopefully we have at least two more records in us."
Plant's collaboration with Krauss has been one of the major reasons behind the rocker's decision not to reunite with his former band Led Zeppelin for a talked-about world tour.
