PLANT FIGHTS FOR NEW CANCER TREATMENT

Former LED ZEPPELIN star ROBERT PLANT is lending his support to a pioneering British cancer charity.
The rock legend is a big fan of new Photodynamic Therapy, which he claims is helping friends battle the disease, and he's backing charity Killing Cancer's bid to raise cash and awareness about the treatment.
Charity bosses are aiming to raise $75 million (GBP50 million) to fund trials into the treatment, which kills cells through a combination of drugs and light.
Plant says, "It really is an injustice that this form of treatment is not available to everyone in the U.K. I have friends currently receiving PDT, but only because we pushed to get it."
