PLANT DENIES LED ZEPPELIN TOUR RUMOURS
ROBERT PLANT has denied new reports he will join LED ZEPPELIN for a reunion tour, branding the rumours "frustrating and ridiculous".
Reports in a U.K. tabloid last week (beg22Sep08) stated that Plant has agreed to hit the road with the other members of the band, despite having a successful solo career.
But Plant has slammed the claims and insists he has no plans to tour with anyone for at least two years after finishing his U.S. dates with Alison Krauss on 5 October (08).
A statement from the rocker says, "Contrary to a spate of recent reports, Robert Plant will not be touring or recording with Led Zeppelin. Anyone buying tickets online to any such event will be buying bogus tickets."
The rock legends reunited for a one-off concert, their first for 19 years, in London in December (07).
The statement continued: "It's both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward.
"I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects."
