PIXIE GELDOF DROPPED BY MODELLING AGENCY

BOB GELDOF's daughter PIXIE has suffered a blow to her burgeoning runway career - she's been dropped by her modelling agency.
Pixie Geldof had been signed to Select Model Management since the age of 16, but it was announced on Thursday (16Jul09) that her contract would not be renewed.
The agency was responsible for helping the 20 year old land the cover of fashion bible Italian Vogue earlier this year (09).
The youngster's catwalk colleague, Daisy Lowe, the daughter of singer Pearl Lowe and rocker Gavin Rossdale, has also been ditched by Select bosses.
