BOB GELDOF's daughter PIXIE reportedly saved a band's guitar from a thief at a club in London on Sunday night (02Jul09).
The 19 year old was partying at the Proud Galleries venue after seeing rockers Spindle and Wit perform, when singer Phil Morris' $3,000 (£2,000) guitar went missing from the stage.
The alleged thief ran from the club, but Geldof spotted him and followed him outside, according to British newspaper The Sun.
The five-piece panicked when they noticed the instrument had disappeared - until the star told them to look for the man in a nearby pub.
The publication reports the man was found and detained until police arrived to question him.
