PISTOLS SPLIT OVER SWEARING

SEX PISTOLS star GLEN MATLOCK is trying to convince his bandmates to stop swearing onstage for their upcoming reunion shows - because his young son will be in the audience. The bass player has approached singer John Lydon and asked the frontman to tone down some lyrics that could upset parents like himself. Lydon - aka Johnny Rotten - isn't convinced, stating, "He's been saying that all this swearing should stop. I understand he's a father and doesn't want his son to have to hear foul language." But there's one song Lydon won't change for the group's upcoming reunion shows. He tells Spin magazine, "I wrote in Bodies, 'F**k this and f**k that/F**k it all, and f**k the f**king brat,' and I don't think there's a clearer song about the pain of abortion. "The juxtaposition of all those different psychic things in your head and all the confusion, the anger, the frustration, you have to capture in those words."
