PINTO THINKS L'OREAL IS WORTH IT

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE star FREIDA PINTO is to become the new face of cosmetics giant L'Oreal - despite rumours the actress was set to sign a six-figure deal with rival Estee Lauder.
The Mumbai, India born beauty was expected to follow in the footsteps of former campaign girls Elizabeth Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow with a $280,000 (£200,000) contract to become the first Asian spokeswoman for the Lauder brand.
But Pinto has now confirmed she will front campaigns for L'Oreal instead.
She says in a statement, "I am very moved to be joining the great L'Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of."
Lost actress Evangeline Lilly has also been signed as a L'Oreal covergirl.
