PINTO LANDS ROLE IN HUSSEINI BIOPIC
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE star FREIDA PINTO has joined the cast of JULIAN SCHNABEL's new movie about philanthropist HIND HUSSEINI.
The Indian star will join The Visitor actress Hiam Abbas, who will play the title character in Miral.
Husseini founded the Dar Al-Tifi orphanage in Jerusalem in 1948.
Artist/director Schnabel plans to shoot the film, an adaptation of a book by Rula Jebreal, in Israel and Palestine, according to Daily Variety.
