PINK PROMOTES ANIMAL CHARITY
Pop punk PINK is lending her name to an animal charity in a bid to raise awareness among pet owners in Australia.
The singer has agreed to become the face of a Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) campaign to encourage teenagers to be kinder to animals.
The star - who previously sparked controversy in the country for criticising sheep mulesing (method of farming) in December 2006 - posed with a shelter puppy named Princess as part of a promotional shoot.
A RSPCA spokesman says, "Pink ran out of hair and make-up to have cuddles with the puppy. She let the puppy lick her on her cheeks and sat on the couch and cuddled and spoke to her. It was an awesome sight to see because it was like Pink completely zoned out from what was going on around her."
