PINK FLOYD'S FRACTURED TRIBUTE TO SYD BARRETT
Feuding former PINK FLOYD bandmates ROGER WATERS and DAVID GILMOUR failed to reunite for a tribute to the late SYD BARRETT in London last night (10May07).
The pair - whose famous rift caused the band to split in the 1980s - both took to the stage at the concert at the capital's Barbican Centre, but performed separately.
Waters played solo, while Gilmour was joined by Pink Floyd's original drummer Nick Mason and keyboard player Rick Wright.
Barrett's songs were also performed by Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn and Chrissie Hynde.
Barrett died last July (06) from complications arising from diabetes, at the age of 60.
