PINK BOYCOTTS OZ WOOL
Outspoken singer Pink has put her face towards Peta's campaign against Australian wool.
The animal rights group say that sheep are suffering poor treatment and cruelty down under, a claim that Aussie farmers are not too pleased about.
At her concert in Paris, the Stupid Girls singer announced: "I am calling on consumers to check labels on sweaters before buying them and if they’re merino wool or made in Australia, to leave them on the racks."
She also played her French fans a gruesome video expose produced by Peta, something that possibly didn't 'Get the Party Started'.
Pink, real name Alecia Moore, has fronted animal rights campaigns before such as Peta's fight against alleged poor treatment of chickens before death by fast food chain KFC. She even wrote to Prince William about the bearskin used for the headgear of the royal guards.
Just last month, Pink also reportedly slated Destinys Child singer Beyonce for wearing fur.
With so much love for furry creatures, the rocker won't be having the troubles of Christina Ricci whose fan-run website was closed because she wore reindeer fur.
Unless Pink's website is run by an Australian sheep farmer…
