PIERCE RETURNS TO CHILDHOOD CHURCH

Former FRASIER actor DAVID HYDE PIERCE will be the star attraction on Sunday (11Oct09) when he returns to his childhood church to play the organ.
The star recently joined forces with his three siblings to donate money to the Bethesda Episcopal Church in Saratoga Springs, upstate New York, to help rebuild the organ they grew up listening to.
Pierce will revisit the church this weekend, where he worked in his teens as an assistant to the church organist, to show off his skills on the 1920 Skinner organ.
The revamped musical instrument will be dedicated to the actor's parents during the special ceremony, naming it the George and Laura Pierce Gallery Organ.
