PHILLIPPE INSPIRED TO ACT BY NEWMAN
CRASH star RYAN PHILLIPPE credits Hollywood legend PAUL NEWMAN with giving him the impetus to become an actor.
The 33-year-old was undecided about his career path until he watched Newman in 1967 film Cool Hand Luke.
He says, "I didn't want a small life. I wanted to experience something different. I aspired to that even without knowing how to achieve it.
"I remember being fascinated and inspired by his (Newman's) performance."
