PHANTOM SEQUEL TO PREMIERE IN MARCH
ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA sequel will premiere on London's West End in March (10).
Love Never Dies will officially open at the Adelphi Theatre on 9 March (10). It was originally scheduled to launch simultaneously in London and New York at the end of this year (09).
New York theatregoers will have to wait for their premiere until November, 2010.
Previews for the London show will begin on 20 February (09).
Set 10 years after The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies continues the story of the obsessive, faceless ghoul, who has moved from the Paris Opera House to haunt the fairgrounds of New York's Coney Island.
Phantom is still running in London after more than 9,500 performances and it is Broadway's longest-running show.
The musical has been seen by over 100 million people worldwide.
