PHANTOM SEQUEL LANDS DIRECTOR/DESIGNER
The much-anticipated PHANTOM OF THE OPERA sequel is one step closer to hitting the stage - triple Tony Award winner JACK O BRIEN has signed on to direct the stage spectacular. Andrew Lloyd Webber and novelist Frederick Forsyth have collaborated on The Phantom of Manhattan, the sequel to the theatre impresario's smash-hit musical. O'Brien is the Artistic Director of the Old Globe Theater in San Diego, California. The new Phantom also has a designer on board - Bob Crowley of London's National Theatre who will create the stage set for the ambitious new show.
