PFEIFFER SNUBBED BASIC INSTINCT ROLE
Hollywood actress MICHELLE PFEIFFER turned down the chance to star in the 1992 film BASIC INSTINCT because she hates nude scenes.
The Hairspray star reveals she was offered the role of murderess Catherine Tramell - later handed to Sharon Stone - but found the erotic love scenes too daunting.
She says, "How did you know about Basic Instinct? I just couldn't do that one, because of the sexual parts, the nudity. My father was still alive. I'm kind of prudish.
"And honestly? I am not that uninhibited about my body. I'm modest."
