Peter Andre has a secret girlfriend according to his estranged wife Katie Price.

Katie Price claims estranged husband Peter Andre has a secret girlfriend.

The glamour model says the identity of the 'Behind Closed Doors' singer's new lover will soon be revealed and she is glad he has moved on from their failed marriage.

She said: "He is seeing a girl. It hasn't come out yet, but it is slowly coming out because I've read it and I just hope he's happy."

Since the split, Peter has been linked to former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant Chantelle Houghton but has denied the pair are romantically involved.

Katie, who insists she will "never" get back together with Peter, claims her estranged spouse "hates" her because she is dating cage fighter Alex Reid.

She added to British TV show 'This Morning': "People don't really know what's going on behind the scenes, trust me. I think Peter's got more hatred for me than anything, especially because of all what's gone on because I've met Alex."

When asked if she is serious about Alex, Katie replied: "It's early days. Do I love him? That's quite a strong word."

The 31-year-old star claims Peter never wanted to make their separation permanent when he walked out on her in May.

She explained: "He calls me vile and that's fine. I think it backfired on him. I think he thought we'd probably get back together but the media got involved."

Katie also alleges Peter was aware she had been raped when she was younger, saying: "He knows who the other person is."
