Singer Peter Andre - whose divorce from Katie Price was finalised earlier this month - says his debut fragrance 'Unconditional' is inspired by Lily Allen.

Peter Andre says his new fragrance is the smell of freedom.

The 36-year-old singer - whose divorce from model Katie Price was finalised last Thursday (22.10.09) - said that his perfume for women, 'Unconditional', was inspired by his newly-single status.

Peter said: "It's like a freedom smell."

He added that being single meant he knew how he wanted a woman to smell and claimed outspoken 'The Fear' singer Lily Allen inspired the scent.

Peter said: "She's kind of a fresh burst of summer. There's something about Lily Allen that's really exciting to me."

Peter had originally planned to release a men's fragrance, but was urged to capitalise on his popularity with women following his split from Katie - with whom he raises three children, Harvey, seven, four-year-old Junior and Princess, two  - earlier this year.
