PETE DOHERTY REVEALS KEBAB CHASE ANECDOTE

BABYSHAMBLES star PETE DOHERTY has revealed that he has been chased down a Liverpool street by a kebab shop owner brandishing a skewer.

In a video released prior to his forthcoming solo album, the musician said that the event occurred when he was a youngster.

He added that he had been wearing a pair of old trousers from the bottom his Nan's wardrobe and thought they gave him magical powers.

"I was about 15. I went in and demanded a kebab. I was a bit drunk, the fella said, 'Sorry mate, we're closed'," Doherty continued.

"I said, 'Give me a f*****' kebab'. They chased me up the street with a skewer, but the trousers didn't give in. They were furry with '80s patterned diamonds on them."

Recent reports have suggested that Doherty has vetoed a possible reunion with his former LIBERTINES bandmates because CARL BARAT was also unwilling to participate.
