PETA FOUNDER GETS CELEBRITY HELP FOR NEW BOOK

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals founder INGRID NEWKIRK has got some celebrity weight behind her new book - WILLIE NELSON, KEVIN BACON and SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY have all written essays for it.
One Can Make a Difference: How Simple Actions Can Change the World is a motivational book which offers insights into how individuals can affect major change.
It features more than 50 thought-provoking original essays written by an intriguing, diverse group of people.
As well as MCCartney, Nelson and Bacon, the book also features pieces written by His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Petra Nemcova and Moby.
But it isn't all about celebrities - Newkirk also highlights a college student who retrieves coins stuck behind dorm-room sofas and donates the money to charity and the woman who founded the first dog park in the U.S.
