PERRY'S SHATTERED KNEE FORCES AEROSMITH TO SCRAP FESTIVAL DATE

AEROSMITH have postponed an upcoming concert in Venezuela to allow guitarist JOE PERRY to recover from a reported fractured knee.
The band was rehearsing for the 1 February (09) show in Caracas when he fell and shattered his knee, according to reports from South America.
According to Solid Show Producciones officials, who are organising the festival Aerosmith were supposed to headline, Perry had to undergo emergency surgery in his native Boston, Massachusetts.
He has been advised to refrain from performing for three-to-four months in order to ensure that his knee is properly healed, according to website Blabbermouth.net.
This is another major health setback for the rocker, who underwent knee replacement surgery in March 2008. Perry hobbled around with the use of a cane for much of 2008.
