PERRY'S FAITH SAW HIM THROUGH STRUGGLES

Actor/director TYLER PERRY always had faith he would find success - despite experiencing homelessness and hunger when starting out.
The Madea Goes To Jail filmmaker was forced to sleep in his car when starting out as a playwright in Atlanta in 1992.
But Perry doesn't regret the humiliating experience - as he always believed better times were ahead.
He tells U.S. TV show host Larry King, "It was only a three month period that I was actually out on the streets and sleeping in the car. And when I couldn't afford the pay by the week hotel, I would go and sleep in the car. And it was character building, I think."
"I'm a man who has always had faith in God and always had faith in what I do. And I always believed that it would work. No matter what happened, it would one day come to pass."
