KATY PERRY has introduced new boyfriend RUSSELL BRAND to her parents - but the pop star's pastor dad isn't convinced the former drug addict is the right man for his daughter.
The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker recently took the funnyman, famed for his womanising ways and struggle with substance abuse, to meet her parents Keith and Mary, who run an evangelical ministry.
But Perry's dad is hoping the 25 year old eventually finds another man to settle down with.
He tells the News of the World, "I have met Russell. I'm not thinking he's the guy who will be her husband, but he's a nice guy."
The couple has been dating since September (09) and has been regularly spotted spending a lot of time in Los Angeles, prompting rumours the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star will quit his native Britain to live in the U.S. with the singer.
