PERRY, SWIFT & NE-YO STAR IN WEST SIDE STORY VMAS VIDEO

KATY PERRY, TAYLOR SWIFT and NE-YO have teamed up to revamp WEST SIDE STORY's TONIGHT suite as a promo for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.
Indie supergroup Cobra Starship and Ne-Yo's posse reimagine the film/musical's gangs the Jets and the Sharks, while Perry revamps Rita Moreno's Anita character, trimming bushes in her rooftop garden and Swift portrays wide-eyed and innocent Maria, riding through rainy New York City in a yellow taxi cab.
Show host Russell Brand completes the all-star promo line-up as a lustful Tony, singing, "I'm shagging Lady GaGa/There's no one that I'd rather/Make pregnant on this night."
The VMAs will be held in New York on 13 September (09).
