PERRY: 'AEROSMITH NEED TO TAKE IT EASY'

AEROSMITH star JOE PERRY has conceded the band needs to start scaling back their live shows - because the ageing rockers are not as fit as they once were.
The Walk This Way hitmakers have been forced to scrap the rest of their summer tour after frontman Steven Tyler took a nasty tumble during a concert in South Dakota.
The 61-year-old singer fell off the stage during an energetic dance routine and his injuries forced the cancellation of their live dates.
Perry admits the group is often too ambitious when it comes to playing live and they need to start taking it easy as they near retirement age.
He says, "I think that the band has to look at what it takes to do this gracefully. There's no reason why the band can't keep playing until we can't walk. There's just no reason. You just have to know that you can't do certain things anymore. You know, you can't do somersaults on stage, you can't swing from ropes. But there are other things you can do that are just as entertaining - like sing, play."
