PERRINEAU SLAMS LOST PRODUCERS

Actor HAROLD PERRINEAU is upset with the producers of LOST because they never told him they were bringing his character back to the drama to die.
The Matrix Revolutions star - who plays Michael in the ht show - was hoping his return to the desert island drama would allow his character to become more of a father to his screen son.
But Perrineau was annoyed to find out he was to be killed off in the latest season finale, which aired in America last week (ends30May08).
He admits he had no idea his character would perish and still feels bitter about returning to the show, which he first left during season two.
Perrineau tells America's TV Guide magazine, "I had no idea. It's like, 'What the hell?' I felt like, 'Is that it? I came back for that?'
"I'm disappointed, mostly because I wanted Michael and Walt (son) to have a happy ending. I was hoping Michael would get it together and actually wanna be a father to his kid.
"If I were writing it, I would write it differently."
And Perrineau fears his character's storyline was doomed from the start - because of his colour.
He adds, "If I'm being really candid, there are all these questions about how they respond to black people on the show... A little black boy and his father hooking up, that wasn't interesting. Instead, Walt just winds up being another fatherless child."
