PEREZ TAKES CREDIT FOR DISCOVERING LOPEZ
American actress ROSIE PEREZ is taking all the credit for JENNIFER LOPEZ' starstudded career, claiming she gave the superstar her first job. Perez was working on U.S. comedy sketch show In Living Colour when J.Lo was given her first big break as a Fly Girl dancer on the programme. The 43-year-old tells New York gossip column PageSix, "I'm the one that hired Jennifer Lopez, even though she tells everyone Keenan Ivory Wayans was. He didn't want her because she was overweight and didn't dance well, but I said, 'She has star quality.' "
