PENN: 'VAUGHN NEVER SLEEPS'

Filmmaker SEAN PENN was amazed by VINCE VAUGHN's stamina on the set of acclaimed new movie INTO THE WILD, because the actor never seemed to sleep. Penn, who directed the film, would get up each morning to see Vaughn going to bed after all-night poker sessions. He says, "I don't know when Vince sleeps. "While we were shooting in South Dakota, Vince had his card games. I'd crash out after a few drinks. When I'd get up the next day, a few hours before shooting, Vince would just then be grabbing up his winnings from a poker game that they had started the night before, after we got home from work. "And he took everybody's money."
