Funnyman SIMON PEGG wants to swap acting for music after he played the drums at a party for the premiere of his new film.
Pegg stars in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, based on the best-selling book of the same name by British journalist Toby Young, alongside The X Files actress Gillian Anderson.
Following the star-studded London premiere of the film on Wednesday (24Sep08), British band Guillemots performed at the afterparty held at Shoreditch House.
Pegg grabbed the drumsticks and thrashed out some songs with the Get Over It hitmakers - and fell in love with the instrument.
He says, "I think I might kill the drummer and take his job full-time."
