PEGG: 'SCHWIMMER BLANKED ME ON BAND OF BROTHERS'
SIMON PEGG was surprised to become close friends with DAVID SCHWIMMER - because the FRIENDS star blanked him when they appeared together in war mini-series BAND OF BROTHERS.
The pair became pals shooting 2006 movie Big Nothing, and Schwimmer cast Pegg in his directorial debut Run, Fatboy, Run. But they didn't hit it off when they first met, when Schwimmer played Pegg's commanding officer in the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks-created TV show.
Pegg says, "He didn't speak to me in those days."
Schwimmer adds, "It's true. I was really anti-social in those days - partly because of the character I played. I didn't make an effort."
