PEGG HONOURED BY HOMETOWN

British comic SIMON PEGG has been awarded an honourary degree from the university in his hometown of Gloucester, England.
The Shaun of the Dead star has been granted the fellowship from the University of Gloucestershire for his "significant contribution to the arts".
He says, "I'm honoured to be receiving this fellowship, not least because it comes from an area very special to my heart. No matter where I go, Gloucester will always be my home and I can't wait to come back for this special visit."
Pegg will receive the honour at a graduation ceremony at the country's Cheltenham Racecourse on 4 December (08).
