PEGG BLASTS GERVAIS FOR CRITICISING BRITISH FILMS

Funnyman SIMON PEGG has hit out at fellow comedian RICKY GERVAIS for criticising the British film industry.
Pegg slammed The Office star, who has had huge success in America with the comedy series, after he declared there had been no decent films to come out of the U.K. in almost 60 years.
Pegg says, "He (Gervais) says a lot of things, that man. He said there had been no good British films since 1950. What an idiot. If you go to Los Angeles, you can get sucked into that."
And Pegg also made a jibe about Gervais' weight, insisting people living in LA become either thin or fat.
He adds, "He's one of the fat people in Los Angeles, yes."
