PEER PRESSURE PROMPTS JACKSON TO RETHINK A WOMAN'S LOVE

Country star ALAN JACKSON has succumbed to eight years of pressure from pal ALISON KRAUSS to release one of her favourite tunes as a single. Bluegrass star Krauss fell in love with A WOMAN'S LOVE when Jackson recorded the ballad for his 1998 album HIGH MILEAGE, which she produced - and urged the singer to release the song as a single. But it was only when Jackson re-recorded the popular tune for his new album LIKE RED ON A ROSE that he felt it would make a good single.
