PEARL JAM'S JACKSON TRIBUTE

Pearl Jam dazzled crowds with their epic three-hour set at London's O2 arena this week.

Pearl Jam paid tribute to Michael Jackson during their show at London's O2 arena.

The group played the city's venue on Tuesday (18.08.09) - where the late pop icon had been due to start a 50-date residency last month - and after singer Eddie Vedder performed a solo version of the singer's hit 'Ben', launched into their hit 'Rats', saying it was dedicated "to a man who was supposed to take to this stage and do what he did."

During the group's epic three-hour, 28-song set, the veteran rockers performed several cover versions, including The Who's 'Love Reign O'er Me' 'Crazy Mary' by Victoria Williams and Holland Dozier Holland' song 'Leaving Here'.

Although touring to promote their forthcoming new album, 'Backspacer', the crowd - which included Hollywood stars Josh Brolin, Tim Robbins and Jonah Hill - were thrilled that the bulk of the set was comprised of the 'Alive' group's extensive back catalogue.
