PEARCE: 'WARHOL DIARIES NOT ACCURATE'

GUY PEARCE warns people not to judge artist ANDY WARHOL by his published diaries, because he only used them to keep track of his expenses. The Australian star portrays Warhol in the new film FACTORY GIRL and insists THE ANDY WARHOL DIARIES don't accurately reflect the avant garde artist. He explains, "It's kind of misunderstood, that diary in a way. "Andy was told by an accountant that he needed to start documenting every penny that he spent on things and people sort of look at it as his one and only diary. "So it's a little unfair on Andy, I think!"
