Australian movie star GUY PEARCE had an uneasy Christmas (06) because he spent years fearing he wouldn't live to see it. The MEMENTO star's father died when he was 39, two months and a day old - and Pearce figured out he'd be that age on 6 December. The actor says, "All my life I've wondered about 39 and never wondered about (turning) 40 at all... I got a bit obsessive about that. "The sixth of December it was, and leading up to it, and still now, it's a very odd feeling... I think I've projected forward all my life this idea, this image of what it will be like when I'm 39. "Also, it makes me realise how young he was."
