PEACHES GELDOF DENIES AFRICA TRIP

SIR BOB GELDOF's daughter PEACHES has denied her father is sending her to Africa in a bid to curb her partying lifestyle.
The 19-year-old hit the headlines in her native Britain last month (Jul08) after collapsing following an alleged heroin overdose.
Subsequent reports suggested former rocker Geldof is keen to send his daughter to Africa to "open her eyes" and show how privileged her upbringing has been.
But the teenager denies she has been ordered to visit the poverty-stricken nation.
She tells British magazine Closer, "That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It would never happen. My dad would never dream of doing that."
However, she does admit she is temporarily leaving the U.K. - to escape the media interest in her rumoured drugs scare.
She adds, "I'm the first to admit the last few weeks have been crazy - but I'm not out of control. I do need to get out of London for a while and relax, clear my head and sort things out."
