PATTINSON: 'FAME'S MADE ME A RECLUSE'

ROBERT PATTINSON's fame has forced him into hiding - he has turned into a "recluse" since hitting the big time.
The British hunk has had a rollercoaster ride from relative unknown to global superstar in the last 12 months, ever since he took on the role of vampire Edward Cullen in the hit Twilight movies.
The 23 year old has found the transformation difficult, recently confessing fame has ruined his life because he can no longer go outside without a baying crowd of teens hounding him.
And Pattinson has even stopped trying to have a social life - and only feels relaxed in the safety of a closed film set.
He tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I’ve always been a bit of a recluse anyway so it doesn’t make too much of a difference now that I actually am one.
"I’ve always felt more relaxed when I’m actually on set than I do in the world. I feel more relaxed there than doing interviews and talking to people I don’t know."
