PATRICK'S TAX FIASCO

TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY star ROBERT PATRICK has fired his business manager after discovering he owes thousands in unpaid taxes.
According to THE DETROIT NEWS The actor was fuming last month (Jul09) after learning he has racked up debts of more than $176,000 (£118,000) with both the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and tax officials in California.
Patrick maintains he is a "proud American" and had every intention of paying his taxes, insisting the blame lies with his business manager of 17 years, who he dismissed promptly after finding out about his arrears.
He says, "My reaction is frustration and I'm very angry. I've had an impeccable relationship with taxes. I've never had a problem. I'm a very proud American. I fly to Iraq and Afghanistan to see the troops. I'm very pro-military. I am in shock and angry about it."
IRS bosses filed a tax lien for $116,807 (£78,000) against the 50 year old and his wife Barbara on 7 August (09) in Ohio, demanding income taxes from 2007.
California taxmen also filed a $5,040 (£3,300) demand against Patrick in 2007, and another claim for $55,000 (£37,000) against the couple in May (09).
