PATRICK SWAYZE'S SHOW DROPPED?
US TV police drama 'The Beast' starring Patrick Swayze has reportedly been dropped, sparking concerns for the cancer-stricken star's health.
Patrick Swayze's TV show has reportedly been cancelled.
Industry sources claim police drama 'The Beast' - which saw the cancer-stricken star play a rogue FBI agent in Chicago - will not return for a second season because Swayze is too ill, according to Variety magazine.
The 56-year-old actor was shooting the first 13-episode series of the programme when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year.
He completed filming, despite spending several weeks in hospital fighting pneumonia.
The show did not rate well, but sources expected network A+E to commission a second series.
One of the actors was put on a contract hold last August, while several others were reportedly keeping their schedules open in case the show was renewed.
Now it appears Swayze is too ill to continue acting, and executives cannot find a suitable replacement.
Network officials have refused to confirm a cancellation, insisting they are yet to make a decision about the programme.

Hi patrick and lisa i am really sorry to hrer that ther will be no more series
of the beast only i thought it was a really good series and do you now thay are
right thay could never find anyone better than you to play the part and i now
that you are really ill i keep upto date on how you are doing on the internet
every day but when you get better you can make everyone eat there words and i
seen a recent photo of you that was taken not long ago and you looked a hell of
a lot better and even looked as if you had put some waight back on i have
watched almost every film that you have been in and i hope to see you on are
screens again in the near future well patrick lisa the time in england now is
2.55 in the morning and i am in bed wrighting this letter to you bothe so i
will sign of for now and get some shut eye and as arnie would say i,ll be back
so once again good night god bless and god be with you both you are in our
thoughts always from karen and david
