PATRICK SWAYZE TO BE CREMATED

Patrick Swayze, who died on Monday (14.09.09), will be cremated and his ashes scattered on his New Mexico ranch.

Patrick Swayze is to be cremated within 48 hours.

The 'Dirty Dancing' actor - who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday (14.09.09) aged 57 - will have his ashes scattered on his New Mexico Ranch.

Website RadarOnline reports: "Swayze loved the ranch and visited whenever he could. Swayze turned his Rancho de Dias Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days) into a wildlife preserve and timber farm, he loved the rugged mountains and canyons of his ranch and the cowboy life he led there."

Patrick was well known in the area, and often told friends it was his favourite place to be.

He could often be found flying his private jet across the ranch, and was well-loved by locals.

A host of stars have paid their respects to Patrick following his death, with his 'Point Break' co-star Keanu Reeves the latest to speak about his memories of the actor.

Keanu said: "There was some skydiving sequences in this film we did together and as filming was going on it came to be that Patrick was jumping out of airplanes all the time.

"I think he had over 30 jumps during the course of filming and so the production served him with a cease and desist which he listened to until they got to Hawaii.

"Over the course of the movie he jumps out of planes and did the flips and falling to the ground and he did it with an open heart. He was a beautiful person, an artist. He just wanted to experience life and for his work he wanted to take the opportunity of the film and it gave him that sense."

dear Lisa, family & friends: what a beautiful piece on Patrick, what a spirit he had. He was a great actor and dancer. I know you are heartbroken, as I have been married 49 years to my highschool sweetheart so far. You had 34 years together....Patrick is at peace and no more cancer. I am looking forward to reading your book. I cryed so much for him and you last night after Barbara Walters show, and am going to rent all his movies again. What a guy you had. God bless you & family & dogs and horses. Bette-San Bruno,CA.

I look thru this site an see no fans even attempting to say some thing nice, i liked patrick swayze an i guess youd say i was a fan of his in a way, but he was an honest person it seems an no one even says they are sad to hear he passed an when you look at michael jacksons sites every one is writting some thing even me but i was not a michael jackson fan at all liked some of his music tho, now farrah fawcett died earlier the day michael did an her death was pushed under the carpet too, it seems this is really sad when both these actors gave their all to every one in every thing they did an you hardley see anyone writting something nice about them, this is what is really sad, im glad patrick had the attitude he had it shows you what kind of a man he was a good one, it saddens me to hear he has past, i am sorrie his wife must endure this also may partrick be in peace an walk with god for all eternity, because he appeared to be a really good person inmy opinion an may his ashes be spread across his ranch so he can be free to fly like the wind
