PATRICK SWAYZE STILL SMOKING
Cancer-stricken Patrick Swayze appeared healthy and in good spirits on a trip out with his brother - to a store selling smoking paraphernalia.
Patrick Swayze is still smoking, despite having pancreatic cancer.
The 'Dirty Dancing' star was spotted going into a shop which sells smoking paraphernalia in Los Angeles with his brother Donny. He left with a glass pipe.
Although it is not recommended for cancer sufferers to continue smoking while having treatment, Patrick looked the healthiest he has been for months, although tubes believed to be catheters for his chemotherapy could be seen sticking out of the front of his shirt.
The 56-year-old actor was sporting a new short goatee beard and some hair was visibly poking out of the sides of his cowboy hat.
An onlooker said: "Compared to a few months ago he looked much better. He didn't look as frail and seemed in good spirits."
Patrick was feared to have only months to live when he was first diagnosed with the illness early in 2008, but he has fought the condition with the alleged help of a new advanced form of radiotherapy known as the CyberKnife technique - which shoots beams of radiation at inoperable and inaccessible tumours.
As well as the cutting-edge radiotherapy, Patrick recently claimed his puppy Kumasai was helping him beat cancer.
He said: "There is a brand new, 12-week-old, Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Kumasai in my life who is gorgeous and already showing that he will be one special dog. Also, I am starting work on my new book, in addition to enjoying the fantastic response from everyone on my A+E series 'The Beast'. I have so much to be thankful for at this time."

This is really unbeliveable arent their any patrick swayze fans out their, look
at all the people on michael jacksons sites me included writting about michael
jackson i think patrick was a great person an a great actor an he deserves
better than this is their no one who cared enough to write on his sites , i am
why he was a great person some one i really liked, he it appears never did no
harm to any one an yet no one has the decentsy to say one word in patricks
favor or not one word about him passing this is totally unbelieveable, im sure
his wife must go on these sites to see if any one wrote any thing , an as far
as him smoking it was his choice maybe not a good one but i dont know if the
out come would of been better had he quit i dont smoke but my ex husband did
until 5 months ago an quitting was something he needed to do he has a 3cm lung
mass an emphysema, but the lung mass is not cancerous at this time , an he just
one day laid the cigarettes down actual lil cigars down an said i quit, i
didnot push him into it it was his choice an it had to be some thing patrick
wanted to do it should of been something he needed to do would the out come
have changed maybe an maybe not no one knows the answer an know one ever will
now that patrick has passed, maybe if he was not a smoker the out come would of
been different an its maybe here again is the word, it appeared every thing
patrick did or didnot do was his choice, an thats the way it should of been
