PATIENT NE-YO WILL WAIT FOR BRITNEY

Singer/songwriter NE-YO is still keen to work with troubled pop star BRITNEY SPEARS, even though she stood him up in the studio three times. The SO SICK singer was booked to work with Spears on her comeback but, despite his best efforts, he's yet to hook up with the TOXIC star. He tells MTV News, "There were three or four studio sessions she did not show up to. I understand she's fighting her demons right now. Everybody has the right to fight their demons and do what they got to do to heal up and get right. "She's doing that and I'm (going to) keep on moving, doing what I'm doing. Once she's ready, I'm a phone call away. She knows that. Her people know that." Ne-Yo insists he doesn't want to put any pressure on Spears, who is currently fighting a substance abuse problem in rehab in Malibu, California. He adds, "As of right now, don't worry about the music thing, don't worry about the tabloids, just get yourself right. It's obvious that there's something wrong. "She's got some devil in her and it needs to be exorcised. God bless you, Britney."
