PARTON RECEIVES HONORARY PHD WITH RISQUE SPEECH

Country icon DOLLY PARTON won over fellow graduates as she received an honorary PhD on Friday (08May09) - by joking about her famously enhanced breasts.
The 9 to 5 singer was handed a College of Arts and Sciences doctorate at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for her contribution to music and education.
And the music legend received a standing ovation with her plain-talking speech.
She joked with fellow graduates, "Just think, I am Dr. Dolly! So when people say something about 'Double-D,' they will be thinking of something entirely different."
Parton received praise for her hugely successful literacy drive in the U.S. and the U.K., founding the Imagination Library which donates books to kids before they start school.
