PARTON PICKS UNKNOWN TO PLAY DORALEE IN NINE TO FIVE MUSICAL

DOLLY PARTON has handpicked a little-known Kentucky singer to play the sassy secretary she played in cult movie NINE TO FIVE when the film tours America as a musical this year (07). The country queen has invited MEGAN HILTY to sing with her in Tennessee as part of her rehearsal for the Broadway-bound musical. A thrilled Hilty says, "I'm going to sing with her and I'm so nervous." Parton, who played feisty DORALEE RHODES in the 1980 comedy and wrote and performed the film's theme, is writing the score for the musical, but will not appear in the new show.
