PARTON APPLIED NAIL POLISH TO STATUE
Country superstar DOLLY PARTON once tried to beautify a statue of herself in Tennessee - by painting its toenails.
The 9 To 5 singer has been immortalised in her hometown of Sevierville with a life-size bronze figure depicting her in her heyday.
And Parton confesses she has previously attempted to add some colour to the landmark.
She tells Us Weekly magazine, "I once tried to polish the toenails of my statue in Sevierville, Tennessee. She needed a pedicure..."
